    Services offered by Stone Supplies include day work lorry hire, tipping facilities and expanding the range of the fleet of wagons to include 10, 16 and 20 Tonne capacity vehicles including grab facilities. In addition we offer a comprehensive range of quarry products and aggregate supplies delivered to site works or depots as required. The company strives to be responsive to requests and provides a prompt and reliable service offering the same day delivery. The Stone Supplies yard compound and office suite is located in Pontyclun which provides an accessible central base to enable the company to serve the whole of South Wales and the South West: from Saint David’s in the West, Bristol in the East and reaching into Mid Wales.
  • supply and delivery of materials
    We supply a comprehensive range of quarry products and aggregate materials, delivered to site works or depots as requested. We have our own quarry and licensed landfill tip. materials include:

    GSB Type One (Sub Base); Clean Stone (All sizes); Dust; Sand; Scalpings; Drainage Stone;
    Tarmacadam and bituminous products; Decorative Stone (such as Cotswold Stone); Recycled Aggregates; Other products as required.
  • removal of stone from sites and screening and cleaning the waste to use as recycled aggregate
    Stone Supplies are registered waste carriers and have completed projects involving the removal of inert stone waste from site. The waste is screened and cleaned for re-use as recycled aggregate and thereby conserving primary aggregates and contributing to implementation of site waste management Plans.
  • tipping facilities
    Waste materials can be taken from site with our grab lorries to our own registered landfill site. We are registered waste carriers. This site also stocks aggregate material to allow reloading at the point of waste disposal which saves time and travel.
  • day work hire
    We hire out Grab and Tipper lorries on a day work basis, supplied with a driver.

    The service we offer is prompt, personal, responsive and reliable. The company employs experienced staff and offers ongoing training which complies with statutory requirements particularly Health & Safety law and adheres to procedures which maintain safe and responsible work practices. The company is environmentally aware and adheres to correct waste disposal procedures. Our vehicles are well maintained with our own workshop facilities and fitters.
